Been absent from this forum, my `Dongle`  (The Electronic ONE Twit !),
has not made me too happy, hopefully this will soon be rectified, if not rectumfied first.
But you are right Chico !  the older Singer was very good, at the Barbecue, but what was MOST impressive, was, that one could actually HEAR what was sung, and more importanty what was said.  So many "Entertainers", gabble/babble,on and on, and on, surely not realising that their wonderful `spiel`is completely unintelligeable, this due to the Volume, and `quality`, of their Megawatt speakers/amplifiers.
The Geyser in question was using the many speaker `Pillar`,units from Bose, and was totally hearable, WITHOUT Excessive Volume.
Long may he reign, at long last , ONE "Entertainer who knows what he is `about`. if only the others would learn ?

Middle aged geyser, notable for not being TOO loud, as before, his equipment was MOST impressive.I have read about these Pillar Units, first sighting, sorry ,` Hearing ` of `em,   VERY good, hope they `catch on `. be rather nice to `get` some of the dialogue from the ` Entertainers`.(Maybe !)
Many moons gone, tried out lotsa small  speakers in  systems, up to 30 in Hall, and worked well , but no good for Itinerant Musicians, as being too much labour to set up,  needs a permanent installation. and then the improvement over massive units is unbelievable. Actually overcame some of the dreasful Acoustic problems in many Halls.
Also, speakers were NOT then as good as those now available

Strange Phenomena ?
Opera Houses all over the world, along with other Theatres, holding Musical efforts from Soloists, to very Large Ensembles, have known the importance of actually "Hearing" such words and notes as played.
In some, a  person just t whispering on stage, can be heard at almost every seat in the Auditorium... This with NO Electronic aids.
Clearly due to the design, plus materials used etc.
Very Odd that in so many new places, even "aided" by mega watt amps. and Huge Speakers , one cannot distinguish , either dialogue or lyrics, as pumped out by `Entertainers`.
   (Sometimes that`s a relief !)
