Unfortunately Time is a bit short.
I had considered standing (with my stick), as the Independant Candidate for the Lovely Isle near Windsor on the Thames.... Two Chalets, and Varying Numberss of Fishermen.  All with strong views.
Shame my Application Form got  `Lost in the Post`
It would have been great to join the Westminster Violinists .

Every one keeps "Harping" about everything.
Just remember,  the Proof of the Pudding is,  as always---
In the EATING.    Just do Ponder and make your Memory Cells work really HARD.   History can usually elucidate, or even explain (Occasionally).
and with one last thought----Do, or CAN , Leopards change their spots ?

VERY small thought.
If one votes in the U.K. Elections.   One DOES becomes liable  for all sortsa
things, following a Bereavement ?   Just worth bearing in mind !
AND of course one can`t be  blamed for ANY result...(Coward !)

Strange  ?  How does it come about ,that the Government of a Great Country ,would appear to be elected on the issue, from just THREE Television Debates ...?   ALL dependant on the Televisibility of ONE Person from each of the Political Parties from whom we choose one to  represent US ?
Many have forecast in the past that Television would eventually rule our lives !  Could we be seeing that now ?
History Books tell us, that Churchill   WON  the Last War.... NOT SO !  The War was won by MEN AND  WOMEN, on the Ground, in the AIr, and on the Sea, and in fact all over the World , doing things which were alien to their nature, and upbringing ! Many Dying in so doing, NOT by ONE Person.
I think we should stand back, and maybe apply a similar logic, to the present situation..   " One Swallow does not make a Summer "  etc. etc.
